built around the concept of professionals networking with professionals. The ProNet Center stands in as an office setting where professionals gather to run the business of the organization and provide peer support. The participatory concept of ProNet involves members in its operation with opportunities for leadership and “staff” positions responsible for the day-to-day activities through a committee structure.

ProNet's "Career Transition Strategies" workshop series is designed for the job-seeking professional and includes standard job-seeking topics such as resumes, interviewing and negotiations, which have been geared toward professionals, as well as topics like the hidden job market and EEOC issues.
Resume assistance provides members with advice on creating a resume that grabs the reader's attention, clearly and succinctly presents skills and emphasizes relevant experience.
Interview practice via videotape allows professionals to see themselves answer hard questions, to assesses social skills, and to learn new interview techniques.
Networking is available through ProNet's membership in local professional organizations like Reno-Sparks Chamber of Commerce and Western Industrial Nevada and is an integral part of the ProNet experience.
General Membership Meetings allow additional networking opportunities with other ProNet members who span the range of professional occupations and make available employer panels and locally recognized speakers on relevant topics.
ProNet support staff assists with identifying training, providing career guidance, and addressing job search needs.
Job-Related Training is provided to members as required to increase and update skills. This training may include both occupational training and training on changes occurring in the workplace like in-office alternatives, including telecommuting, e-commuting and remote staffing, 21st century ethics and etiquette and labor law updates.
